Globalization and Sustainability

Explain how the Global Context (Globalisation & Sustainability) and the Concepts of Change, Innovation and Resources were used in your lessons. 

This quarter we have learned about, Globalization and Sustainability and then we learnt about the MDG's and the SDG's, in this quarter when we learned about the MDG's and considering the concept of change, we can see that from 15 years ago they have achieved their goals, maybe not fully but they changed the world and have made the world a better place and they have made new innovations and the technology in our society has become better and is even becoming better and better.

 

How was your understanding of the Global Context, and Concepts helped by the content of Sustainable Development Goals? 

The Sustianble Development Goals are helping to make the world a better place, and the concept of globalization and sustainability helped me in the content of SDG, by knowing the meaning of globalization and sustainability it was way easier for me to understand the SDG's and thier targets and the innovations made the technology standards. Now adays the rate of poverty is decreasing in several places and that is a good result from the MDG's and this is going to be even more succesfull in the next 15 years for the SDG's.

 

In your opinion, please explain what were the (advantages) / (disadvantages) of this IDU between I&S and Design? 

In my opinion the benefits of the IDU was that we had more time to focus on one topic and in the blog we had more time to focus and it was a good combination of the information, and for the limitation we werent really limited in anything but since our design was also an IDU we couldn't make a simple blog on wordpress we had to make a kind of professional (in our own standards) blog in order for our design teacher to mark us.
